We had a great night in Ensenada at the Desert Inn. This afternoon we left for Rosario. We didn't quite make it. We are being really easy on our 23 year old van. The highway 1 is slow, and sometimes turns to gravel. There is a large speed bump in each town the highway runs through. We spent the night at The Old Mill hotel, in Bahia San Quintin. $32 dollars, very dog friendly, and right on the water. This charming little spot is about three miles west of the 1 down a sandy gravely road. A group of guys from California and Oregon, on a fishing trip, who had been traveling in Baja for 20 plus years gave us some great advice on where to go and where not to. We drank Pacificos and listened to traditional spanish jams on the radio.
